Faded Look on Purpose

Thinking I'd inked a flower just right, I stamped it on this card--only to realize, too late, that some of image hadn't picked up ink.

Throw it away?  NO WAY!  :-)  Instead, I decided to continue the look over the whole card.

Here's what I came up with:

I've got to admit, it was kind of fun to "mess up" on the stamping on purpose.  It was even a little tricky at times and I wanted to cringe when a flower would come out too "clean."

I used four stamp sets to create this card: "Joyful Birthday," "Tiny Typewriter Alphabet," "Girls Rock," and "Cottage Floral"--all stamps from CTMH.

Colors include: CTMH's Blush, Gypsy, Sunset, Creme Brulee, and Sweet Leaf.

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping to look!
Blessings,
Brenda

Love it. I never throw a card away, I just improvise.
