Lagoon Sympathy Card

Here is a Sympathy card that I created using the color Lagoon.

I also used a new embossing folder from CTMH and sanded it to expose the white core.  The sentiment was mounted on a Spellbinders Nestabilities .  I stamped and cut out the flower images from the stamp set Card Word Puzzle.

I also added a little something to the inside to finish off this card.

Thank you for visiting today. Keep smiling Joanie

Simple Sympathy Card

Here's a little card I made (a standard A2-size) using CTMH and Hero Arts stamps, paper and ink.

I used "Treasure Life" for the flower.  I stamped the flower once normally, then a second time bending the clear stamp to make it look like a different image.  The leave came from "Simply Splendid" and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I wanted a simple card that could go for just about anybody--soft and beautiful without too much fluff.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!  :-)
Blessings,
Brenda

Triple Time Stamping Technique Card

This card I found the other day at ( dostampingwithdawn), oh so very fun to make.  It is quick and easy and to me really looks sharp and clean.  I will post some directions later.

Thanks for coming by.....smiles coming your way.....Joanie

Sorry for your loss.

This card was made using the CTMH paper packet Sonoma.  Really like the colors in the packet, Amethyst, Bamboo, Cocoa, Colonial White, Olive, Petal, and Smokey Plum.

I used Olive for the ink color and the stamp set  "4 My Friend"   I also used a MS punch for the border and around the sentiment.  Some Amethyst half pearls  and I was done.

Thanks for coming by to visit, hope your having a great week......Smiles......Joanie

Calla Lilly Card with Liquid Glass

This picture might not show it as well as it should, but the Liquid Glass I used over the top of the Calla Lilly image gives this card extra punch.

Some of the products I used include:
- "Calla Lilly" stamp from Rubber Stampede
- Martha Steward border punch
- Fabric edging from sewing
- CTMH inks to stamp and color in the "Calla Lilly"
- 1/4" ribbon
- Cuttlebug dry embossing folder

Thanks for stopping by.  Sending smiles, Joanie

Deepest Sympathy Card

My dear friend's mother recently passed away, and I created this card to express my deepest sympathy.

The inspiration for this card was from the striped ribbon I had in my ribbon drawer.  Close To My Heart's Petal and Sweet Leaf inks, along with Colonial White and coordinating cardstocks, helped create the look I wanted.

I used two stamp sets: "Find Your Style" and "Card Chatter--Sympathy."  I also used the Cuttlebug to dry emboss on the background.

The lighter-colored butterflies were actually a result of me stamping the butterfly image off onto scratch paper.  I liked the image it created so much that I cut them out and added it to the card.

Thank you for stopping by.  Sending smiles, Joanie
