Hello, I just love making these little Rose Buds. Really fun and easy. I used white card stock for the back ground. I dry embossed it with the cuddlebug folder (Leafy Branch), I used CTMH ink Pansy Purple to sponge on the flowers and in the oval.
I also used the gel glitter from CTMH to add a extra touch to the leaves in the oval.

I like how you shaded just inside the oval. And the glitter. At first glance I didn't see it. I'm so glad you pointed it out! You're right. These little purple rose buds are fun......AND pretty. Nicely done! :-)
