Valentine Gift Bag and Card Set

This sweet gift set is for my daughter's homeroom teacher.  I thought I'd post it here to share with you.  :-)

The gift bag was something I made myself.  Yes, I could have used a Cricut cartridge, but sometimes it's just as fast to zip a score line here and zip a score line there and be done with it quickly.

I secured the sides and bottom with Terrifically Tacky Tape.  The handles were glued in place and then secured with buttons sewn on it.

I used Colonial White, Sweet Leaf, and Vineyard Berry colors from CTMH to create simple cards for the teacher to use.  The "Whooooos Your Valentine" stamp set, also from CTMH, was especially fun to use.  I enjoyed making the flower by stamping the heart four times on a square of Colonial White and the stamping it four more times on scrap paper, cutting it out, and mounting them with 3-D Foam Squares on top of the other ones.  A simple button and tiny wording from "A Little Thanks" finished the card quickly.  Oh.  And I can't forget to mention the scalloped edge (which was made with the CTMH corner rounder--guard removed).  I incorporated the scalloped edge to coordinate with the tiny scallop on the gift bag tag.

Thank you for stopping by for a look.
Blessings,

What a clever idea! I love your gift bag, especially cute for a teacher. And your heart flowers are adorable.
