How to Make 3-D Flower Centers

Hi eveyone!  I thought I'd better get busy and put something new on my blog.

This card was made with CTMH ink,  (Sunkiss Yellow, Buttercup, Smokey Plum, and Petal.)   I also used coordinating cardstock from CTMH.  My inspiration for the lattice came from Valida's Designs and Fresh Folds.

I used my cricut to cut out the shape I wanted for the window for the lattice.  All flowers were from the stamp set Asperation C1340  a CTMH product, they are by far the best.  You can't see it but I scored the white cardstock evey half inch and it added that little something more.

I wanted to show you how I made the center for the larger flowers.  I used a small daisy punch, about 1/2 in size.  I punched out nine of them, and shaped them by using a mat and small rounded tool.  It is easier to shape them a little now before stacking them.  I just simply stacked them one on top of the other with a good liquid glue.  After they are dry now is when you finish shaping them to your needs.

Thanks for stopping by.  Sending smilkes, Joanie

This card is one of my favorites! I clicked on the image to make it a little larger and WOW! I can see the details on the flowers.

The lattice work is excellent and the middle of the white flowers provided that extra "something." I love the colors, too.

Way to go!! :-)
