Wooden Panel Card

Give a masculine flair to a card quite easily by stamping a wood grain image on colored cardstock.  I used the CTMH "Universal Backgrounds" stamp set to achieve this look--using color on color and sponging around the edges, too.

 

 

A wooden button balances the sentiment on the card.

 

Supplies used:

Outdoor Denim, Slate, Ruby, New England Ivy and Cashmere cardstock

Outdoor Denim, Slate, Ruby and New England Ivy ink

Wooden Button and DMC thread

"Candlelight," "Tiny Typewriter Alphabet" and "American Celebration" stamp sets

Adhesive, Paper Trimmer, Blocks, Sponge Daubers, Paper Piercing Kit and Scissors, too
